Wer eine Stampede von ungefähr 8.000 ungezügelten, wilden Pferden live und ohne Filter erleben möchte,der sollte sich im belgischen Spa Francorchamps zur genannten Zeit einen kuschligen Platz nahe der berühmten la Source organisieren - vorzugsweise mit Blick gen Süden - und dort geduldig ausharren, bis das rote Licht der Startampel erlischt.

Vom 8.11. bis zum 10.11 kommt es in Valencia auf dem Circuit Ricardo Tormo zum Showdown. In zwei Klassen ist die Entscheidung noch offen! Ein Regenkrimi wie im letzten Jahr steht unswohl nicht bevor. Über das ganze Wochenende ist die Regenwarscheinlichkeit bei 10%. Es sind konstant um die 20° angesagt, teilweise leicht bewölkt.

After a three week break, the MotoGP World Championship restarts this weekend at the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Repsol Honda riders, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa are currently first and second respectively in the Championship standings and arrive in America refreshed and ready to resume the fight. For Dani in particular, this Summer break has been gratefully received. Dani suffered a big crash in Germany in mid-July and the doctors would not allow him to race. However, he rode to a courageous 5th place in the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix in Laguna Seca just before the break. Having had three weeks to rest and recuperate, Dani is now almost back to 100% and will be hoping to return to the podium at a circuit where he's won twice in MotoGP class (2012 and 2010).

Following a successful British Superbike weekend at Oulton Park with James Ellison taking a race victory, the Milwaukee Yamaha Team is now set-up and ready for today’s opening practice session at the Ulster Grand Prix.

Both the team’s road-men, William Dunlop and Conor Cummins, completed a successful shakedown test recently at Cadwell Park, followed by race action at Armoy Road Races in Northern Ireland.

The second MotoGP™ race weekend in the United States kicked off today with the pre-race press conference at the Red Bull US Grand Prix in Laguna Seca, where Repsol Honda Team’s current championship leader Marc Marquez was joined by Monster Yamaha Tech3’s Cal Crutchlow, Yamaha Factory Racing’s Valentino Rossi, NGM Mobile Forward Racing’s Colin Edwards, NGM’s Alex de Angelis, substituting for the injured Ben Spies in the Ignite Pramac Racing Team, as well as Ducati Team’s Nicky Hayden, who announced he will not be with the team from 2014.

The Laguna Seca track measures 3.610 km (2.243 miles) and partly laid out on a hillside, rising abruptly from the bottom of the valley toward the crest. This section includes turns 5, 6, 7, 8 and 8A, the spectacular “Corkscrew” downhill chicane, before falling back sharply to the finish line and the short straightaway, which features two slight changes of direction, and where the maximum speed attained is around 270km/h.

The World Championship arrives in Germany this week, for the final round before the summer break. The Red Bull KTM Ajo team go to Sachsenring having extended a podium streak in the Moto3 class to 20 races, with the help of in-form series leader Luis Salom.
The track has many narrow corners and is one of the slowest on the calendar, characterised by seven consecutive left hand corners which create difficulties in maintaining tyre temperature. It also features one of the shortest straights in Grand Prix racing and ever-variable weather.
